The knitty gritty
Call me Haaskie.
I'm turning 25 this year and so far have done little to nothing with my life. Currently I attend a community college full-time while also working about 30 hours a local movie theater. Can't say I'm entirely complaining since I have money, a roof over my head and am at least attempting to better myself and my life. I'm an average person really. I am entirely obsessed with anime, roleplaying and other such geeky nonsense that is lovely.
Lately my obsessions have been trying my hand at a little artwork, losing weight for my wedding and this blog idea I've had in the back of my mind for months upon months. If you can't tell from my headers I at least love acquiring artwork but haven't gotten into a practice routine to make my own art better. Hopefully by using a little doodle with each of my blog posts the art will get (after a while) better.
The blog?
I have only worked customer service jobs since I was 18. This includes ice cream shops, grocery stores, sandwich shops and a movie theater where I've been for almost 5 years now. Yes, this is far too long to end up at a movie theater but through all of these experiences have taken quite the observational approach to people and how they interact. Unfortunately a lot of these tendencies just aren't that useful and end up for headaches to the staff. Jokes, comments and complaints in the like are also part of banter among coworkers and are just plain dumb. I can't re-educate the world on how not to be themselves, but I can have a few laughs over things that really just aren't that funny.
So here it is, that's basically me (I doubt you really read it anyways) and basically the blog. Other things you might see here is art done for me/by me, wedding gripes (planning my own), college gripes and anything else I can basically imagine. But in general it will be these little quips on things that fall into the categories of: not funny jokes, stupid comments, funny complaints and things that you shouldn't do when you're being a customer.
So sit back and enjoy the read and feel free to criticize the hell out of me like you lovely internet flamers just loooooooove.
